Who we are

What we use and why

We use the information needed to manage your account, answer your messages, fulfil orders, ship items, process returns and protect the site. This may include your name, email, phone number, shipping address, order details, account credentials and security records. Passwords are stored as hashes.

Information needed for an order or account is required to provide that service. Browsing does not require an account. We process requested services and orders to fulfil our commitments, retain business records to meet legal obligations, and use proportionate security records to prevent abuse. Optional audience measurement relies on your consent.

Service providers

The website is hosted by Web Hosting Canada (WHC), which advertises Canadian hosting. Our email providers and shipping carriers receive the information needed to provide their services. For eBay purchases, eBay manages checkout and applies its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Google Analytics is used only with your consent. Google receives browsing, device and connection information and may process it outside Quebec and Canada. Email and marketplace services may also process information outside Quebec. We do not share information for advertising, and we do not send a newsletter.

Cookies and your choice

Essential account cookies secure sign-in and requested account services. The pepejf_account cookie lasts for the browser session. A separate pepejf_consent cookie remembers your choice for 180 days and contains a random reference, the date, notice version and audience-measurement choice.

Optional Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_…) measure visits, with a configured lifetime of up to 180 days. Analytics does not load before acceptance, after refusal, or on account, recovery and administration screens. Advertising features are disabled.

Use Cookie settings at any time to accept, refuse or withdraw audience measurement. Refusing does not prevent browsing or purchases. With JavaScript disabled, Analytics does not run. Your choice applies to this browser; withdrawing stops future measurement but does not erase information already received by Google.

How long we keep information

Sales records are kept for at least seven years for government and accounting requirements, and longer only where an applicable obligation or unresolved matter requires it. Afterwards, we retain only aggregated or anonymized sales information that no longer identifies customers.

Account details and messages are retained while needed to provide the service or resolve a request; legally required sales records are kept separately. Consent evidence has a planned retention period of 180 days; expired records are deleted when another choice is recorded. We restrict access to personal information and use protected storage and access controls.

Your rights and questions

Email pepejfemporium@gmail.com to request access, correction or deletion of your information, withdraw consent, or raise a privacy concern. We may verify your identity. Some records must be retained to meet legal obligations. You may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

We update this page when our practices change. A new optional purpose requiring consent will be presented before it starts.
